THE BOW - Calgary Alberta

THE BOW is a part of a distinguished list of office towers world-wide that have redefined the modern office tower. Its shape, orientation on the streetscape, structural design and sky garden system make its design unique to North America.

When the tower is complete in 2012, the following materials will have been incorporated into the construction of this striking Calgary icon:

• 100,000 cubic metres of high strength concrete
• 39,000 tonnes of structural steel
• 900,000 square feet of glass, enough to cover 10 football fields

THE BOW will be a one-of-a-kind workplace experience for EnCana employees. And, its distinctive arrival on the Calgary skyline will also provide a new urban destination for Calgarians and visitors.
