Miranda Vandemark

Health and Safety Manager

Miranda Vandemark is a Red Seal Journeymen Electrician with 9 years of experience working within the electrical contracting industry. As a safety coordinator, she assists with all aspects of safety including writing safe work practices, inspecting equipment, performing site inspections and making recommendations to senior management.

Since beginning with Western Electrical Management in 2012, she has benefited from working as an apprentice, journeyman, estimator and now safety coordinator. Her experience as a safety coordinator includes First and Jasper, Ice District Tower E and the Kelly Ramsey Building in downtown Edmonton. While working on these projects and others, Miranda has demonstrated the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, manage complex situations and perform under pressure. As WEM’s safety coordinator, Miranda is highly effective and passionate about promoting a harm-free work environment for all.
